SCHOLARSHIPS & TRAINING SUPPORT

A Standards-Led Framework at Veena Venu Legacy Gurukul

At Veena Venu Legacy Gurukul, training support is not promotional discounting. It is an institutional framework designed to support sincere seekers, strengthen continuity of practice and cultivate future custodians of a living tradition.

All support is offered with dignity, confidentiality and full protection of the Gurukul’s training standards.

Eligibility: Long-Term Pathways Only

Scholarships and training support are available only for long-term learning pathways.

Eligibility begins with a minimum training commitment of one year, with lump-sum payment according to the applicable Gurukul fee structure. Short-term pathways, workshops and programmes of six to nine months are not eligible for scholarships or training support.

Scholarships and support apply only to eligible training fees after pathway placement. All support is subject to verification, institutional capacity and the conditions applicable to the selected pathway.

OUR SUPPORT CATEGORIES

Merit Scholarship

The Gurukul may award a Merit Scholarship to exceptional learners who demonstrate sustained discipline, continuity, sincerity and readiness aligned with the Gurukul standard.

Merit Scholarship decisions are deliberate, capacity-limited and based on institutional review.

Stri Shakti Scholarship

For Women Learners

All women learners are eligible for support ranging from 10% to 12%, subject to verification and pathway applicability.

Bal Sanskriti Scholarship

For Children and Young Learners

Children and young learners within the applicable age bracket are eligible for support ranging from 10% to 12%, subject to verification and pathway applicability.

Ekala Mata Support

For Single Mothers

Single mothers, including widowed, divorced, separated or unmarried mothers, may be eligible for support ranging from 10% to 15%.

All requests under this category are handled confidentially and with dignity. Support is subject to brief verification and pathway applicability.

Kala Seva Support

For Artists, Music Teachers and Cultural Practitioners

Practising artists, music teachers and cultural practitioners may be eligible for support ranging from 10% to 15%, based on verification of their professional profile, portfolio or contribution to the field.

Sanskriti Sevak Support

For Meaningful Cultural Service

Individuals contributing measurable cultural service aligned with the mission of Veena Venu Art Foundation may be eligible for support ranging from 10% to 25%.

Where appropriate, this support may be structured through a service-exchange model. The nature, duration and responsibilities of such service will be clearly confirmed with the institution.

Parivaar Parampara Support

For Family Enrolment

When two or more members of the same household undertake training together, additional family members may receive support ranging from 10% to 15%, subject to verification and pathway applicability.

Exceptional Legacy Support

Rare and Special Consideration

In rare cases, exceptional learners entering long-term Legacy Pathways may be considered for a higher level of support.

Such support is deliberate, capacity-limited and granted only through special institutional review.

HOW TO REQUEST SUPPORT

Most support categories may be indicated during the application stage.

Merit-based applications, single-mother status, professional artist or teacher support, and cultural service support may require brief verification or supporting documentation.

All assessments are handled with confidentiality, dignity and institutional discretion.

STANDARDS PROTECTION

Scholarships and training support are offered to strengthen continuity, commitment and seriousness of training. Receiving support does not reduce the learner’s responsibilities or the standards of the Gurukul.

The Gurukul reserves the right to revise or withdraw support if discipline, continuity, practice commitments or the standards of the Learner Code are repeatedly violated.
